Would You Own This Printer? World Strangest Printer

Advancements in computer technology brought changes in our daily lives. In fact, part of innovations is a list of some weird and strange inventions in the market. Even printers are not spared of these weird functions. There is one that is utilized to print out stuff on toasted bread. While the printer may be capable of printing into other forms of media, it is unusual to invest on such a strange printer that prints on toasts.

If you are looking for printers with special features, why not invest on those with practical uses. You have options in multi-function, mobile or photo printers. At least, with these ones, you are assured that you will get the purpose you want when it comes to printing.

With mobile photo printers, you may have inkless printing options. All you need is a specialty paper to make it perform its task. As for photo printers, there are portable options for you to take anywhere you go. Simply take a shot of your favorite scenario then have it printed right away in your photo printer. These items may not be as unusual as those that print on bread but you are guaranteed to enjoy them.

Top 8 Funny Printer Videos on YouTube

Often, people think of printers as mechanical objects – a gadget that is to serve its printing purposes only. But, these devices can be as fun as they are functional. In fact, YouTube had portrayed several printers with some humor and entertainment values.

There is this one video where a husband looks for ants that seem to be traveling around his computer only for him to find out that it was the printer’s scanning mirror causing the trouble. Another appealing video is the human printer making animated dance routines. In another YouTube advertisement, a guy who fails to print pages through the online printing network solves his frustration by turning the computer monitor on top of the printer – as if he may photocopy what is to be printed.

There are also YouTube videos made for specific printer brands. Be thrilled by Epson’s typical “dog chasing cat scenarios”. Lexmark on the other hand, has his own funny video where a boy dumps his girlfriend in exchange for a gorgeous girl who happened to knock through the door. In this scenario, he suddenly finds out that the gorgeous girl was a mere printout from Lexmark printer.

Considering A Digital Picture Frame? How About One That Prints Pics Too?

In an ingenious move Sony’s latest picture frame doubles as a compact photo printer. Sony’s DPP-F700 S-Frame has a 7 inch 16 x 10 ratio LCD display with a 800×400 pixel resolution. The printer sits covertly behind the display screen and prints professional grade pictures at the quick rate of 45 seconds.  What’s more you can also quickly edit the pictures before you print them. The editing software allows for borders, calendar formatting, ID Photo printing and photo collages using several pictures.

It’s also got great storage space allowing for the storage of as many as 2,000 pictures on a 1 gig onboard memory chip. While it isn’t the first such device on the market it is one of the cheapest. The first device was SmartParts’ model early last year. Epson also created an attached printer/frame combo in Japan the Colorio Me E-800 postcard printer which costs $600. The Colorio does well in Japan where it’s used for the Japanese custom of sending a personalized picture on New Years. Sony’s DPP-F700 S-Frame takes the best aspects of both these models and works them into a single device at a reduced price, it’s well worth the purchase.

The Art of Technology Through Photography

I consider myself a frustrated photographer, and may I take an emphasis on FRUSTRATED. Yup, this printer geek loves to take pictures – although the photos I take are not really superb.

But that is not what I would like to share; what I want to reflect upon on this post is the fact that photography has remained to be a rather unique form of art, regardless of the technological advances that has swept through the industry over the years.

photo printerIf anything, technology may have even paved the way for the art of photography to become even better than it already is. With the advent of the digital age, and with it, digital photography, the artist that is the photographer has been given way more freedom and flexibility to express his or her art through the photos that they take.

Technology has also brought the art of photography even closer to the general public, and has given chances for more people to take great photos, regardless of whether they are professionals or not.

So, too, have the advent of even better inkjet printers and their accompanying ink. Looking at photo prints through the years, one cannot deny the amount of improvement that has occurred – from the grainy, seemingly lifeless, monochromatic images of the yesteryears to today’s vivid images that, if one were really, really imaginative, seem to be alive.

Technology has long been associated with something that is wholly academic, something that is devoid of feeling. If we were to look at what technology has brought into photography, though, one cannot help but think, hey, technology is more than just what it is being stereotyped to be. Technology is also art!

Funny Printer Videos

Funny moments always come unexpectedly, and they can involve even the most ordinary and prosaic things. We can even have these funny and amazing moments using our own printer. For example, what would happen if your cat decided to wreak havoc with your printer? Who would win – your cat or the printer? Surely the cat would.

What about printer problems – can they be funny or not? Running out of ink can be troublesome in a very hilarious way. It can get your office in total disarray. Or, a completely sane man can go instantly crazy and lose his temper while changing a toner ink cartridge – all because he got toner on his pristine white shirt.

You can also have amazing moments using your printer. Did you know that you can have a picture of your face printed on chocolate? What about having an instant manicure using your inkjet printer? Bet you did not think about those at all.
