Funny Printer Videos

Funny moments always come unexpectedly, and they can involve even the most ordinary and prosaic things. We can even have these funny and amazing moments using our own printer. For example, what would happen if your cat decided to wreak havoc with your printer? Who would win – your cat or the printer? Surely the cat would.

What about printer problems – can they be funny or not? Running out of ink can be troublesome in a very hilarious way. It can get your office in total disarray. Or, a completely sane man can go instantly crazy and lose his temper while changing a toner ink cartridge – all because he got toner on his pristine white shirt.

You can also have amazing moments using your printer. Did you know that you can have a picture of your face printed on chocolate? What about having an instant manicure using your inkjet printer? Bet you did not think about those at all.

DIY Halloween Projects from HP

Make Halloween fun with the help of your HP printer! Here are a few projects suggested on HP.com.

Jack-O-LanternsJack-O-Lanterns galore! One of the things that are characteristically Halloween is the appearance of carved pumpkins of all shapes and sizes on front stoops. Coming up with the best jack-o-lantern on the block, for some, is the highlight of Halloween, and carving a jack-o-lantern is, in some ways, an art form. HP can actually help you win ‘Best Pumpkin of the Year’ with a variety of templates. Do away with just the creepy eyes and weird grin; choose from ghosts, monsters and other creepy characters.

For a kid who is too young to be wielding a carving knife, he or she can be given the satisfaction of still having his or her very own pumpkin through print-and-tape on pumpkin masks.

You can spice up your or your kids’ costumes with a few well-placed accessories and printables. Iron-on transfers can transform ordinary shirts into fairy costumes or NBA shirts. A fairy kit that is available can transform anyone into a fairy, complete with a flower wand. If being a pirate is more your thing, then check out the pirate party kit, which will help you make your own pirate hat and eye patch.

If you would like to add a little spookiness to your home and are fresh out of ideas, then you can turn to the HP Creative Studio for more spooky ideas. Choose from doorbell decors that will add a little Halloween vibe to trick-or-treaters ringing the doorbell. Bedeck your walls with stickers, banners and other decors to add to that Halloween feel. If HP’s Creative Studio is not spooky enough for you, then by all means, scour the Web for eerie sceneries like black cat silhouettes and skeletons and print these out on your HP printer.

Thinking of a Halloween bash? Then use your HP printer to print out invites or flyers so people will know where to go.

Lexmark’s Line of New Printers

The Lexmark manufacturing brand recently unveiled a line of 7 new printers hitting the market, designed to appeal to small and medium sized businesses.  These printers feature all-in-one technology, with one of the major features being the fact that these printers can connect directly to the Internet themselves.  When you combine that with the fact that this new line of Lexmark printers can offer the lowest per-page cost of printing with black ink, you will find that these new printers make a great investment for any office or personal setting.

lexmark_logoThe 105XL ink cartridges will provide the highest amount of ink for the lowest possible price, retailing for around $6.99 per cartridge.  This is much lower than nearly any other ink cartridge currently available.  This Lexmark line will also offer Eco-Mode, which automates two-sided printing.  You should easily be able to conserve on your paper consumption when you begin to print on both sides of the paper.  This can result in the highest level of savings, which is particularly important in today’s economic settings.

A touch screen is another added benefit of the Lexmark printers, helping you to easily program the printer to perform exactly as you need.  You can easily tell the printer to perform exactly as you need before starting to produce high-quality pages at a very quick rate.  The special Vizix technology of the printer will allow you to get a full range of quality with every page you are printing.  Any office looking to save as much money as possible but still have the best quality pages should look into this new line of Lexmark.

Apple TV 3.0 Software Update Now Available

The release of the Apple TV 3.0 software was announced on Thursday, and the updated software is now available for download. One of the things that Apple pointed out is that the free software comes with a redesigned menu that, hopefully, will provide users with an easier way of finding content.

Apple TVMore than just that, though, the updated software also comes bundled with the new iTunes Extras and iTunes LP. iTunes Extras will provide users with the access to special features which include the ability to view deleted scenes and cast interviews for various movies in the iTunes store. With the iTunes LP, users can choose to view content related to certain songs, interactive lyrics, performance videos and other offerings.

Apart from visual features, the Apple TV 3.0 software now also allows its users to listen to Internet radio stations using the Apple TV. Several stations are available – among these are WCBS and K-Rock. Also included in the package is Genius Mixes, which gives users the ability to “listen to up to 12 endless mixes of songs that go great together, automatically generated from their iTunes library.”

iPhoto Events may now also be accessed by iPhoto users, and iPhoto Faces, Apple’s facial recognition software, was also thrown into the mix.

According to Apple, the Apple TV software is meant to be for hobbyists, although not everyone in the tech world seems to think so, and CNET’s Don Reisinger may be an example. It is probably why he did not seem to be all that excited about this recent release, as his post on CNET News reveals.

Reisinger mentioned that he is an Apple TV owner himself, and while all these new features are nice to have, they still fall short of the tech columnist’s expectations for the software. He was reportedly hoping for something more ground-breaking than Internet radio. For now, he and other Apple TV users would have to wait just a bit more.

10 Tips to Buy the Best Printer

How do you buy the best printer for you? When you buy a printer, you have a number of considerations to weigh. One important consideration is usage. Will you use it at home or at the office, and what are you going to use the printer for? If you need the printer for your office, you may want to consider a heavy-duty printer. Or, if it is going to be the only printer at work or at home, you should think about buying a multi-function printer.

Another big consideration is the cost of the printer upfront and the cost of using the printer in the long run. A printer may be cheap upfront, but the cost of its ink and supplies may set you back later on. You should also do research on the brand and model of printer that you are thinking of buying. What do professional reviews say about the printer? What do your friends, family or workmates think about the printer? Weighing all these considerations will help you buy the best printer for you.
