Lexmark Makes Printing Wireless Consumer-Friendly
It seems I’m on a Lexmark posting kick these days. Nevertheless, there’s some interesting news regarding this ages old printer brand. Specifically, Lexmark is unveiling their latest innovation–the wireless printer.
Set to hit the market in the latter half of this year, Lexmark aims to provide laptop users with a reliable printer that doesn’t need wires or a USB cable to get the job done. Relying on Wi-Fi technology, the Lexmark X4550 Wireless All-in-One will provide all of the same functions as the standard all in one models–it prints, copies and scans–but it is also has integrated 802.11b/g.
Another model set for sale is the X3350 All-In-One. This printer/copier/scanner is cheaper–it prices at around $80–and comes with optional wi-fi connectivity. But if you want to steer clear of the multi-function models, then the Lexmark Z1420 Wireless Color Printer is the right choice for you as it is inexpensive and offers borderless photo printing along with wi-fi.
Of course, any printer must be paired with the correct ink cartridges, and in this case, Lexmark photo printer ink is essential. If you want high quality prints, you can’t go for anything less, really.

You’re right, Sammy. That isn’t nice. I really dislike it when companies attempt to close the market to their competitors. Competition is healthy and challenges people to make innovations. However, I just wanted to talk about the affordable aspect here. A wi-fi printer at a low price could be helpful to some people. Thanks for commenting!
Inkjet Vs Laser Printer…
In the early days there was a vast difference between an inkjet printer and its laser version but with time the difference has narrowed down to point where it is sometimes difficult to differentiate between the two….

Lexmark might be a good printer company, but ever since they started working with Dell and manufacture their inkjet printers (and changed their old technology cartridges just slightly for Dell Inkjet printers so that Dell printer owners can not buy less expensive lexmark cartridges to use in their Dell printers), I lost respect for Lexmark. Helping Dell to exploit their customers, that is not nice.
