How To Install A Printer
Now let’s get one thing straight from the get go. I can’t possibly cover how to install every kind of printer in one blog post. But I can show you how to install printers in general.
It’s not that hard, for starters. Installing a printer shouldn’t be that difficult even for the biggest beginner of them all. In the days of technological-yore, you had to go through a bunch of nonsense to get a printer up and running. But those days have since passed.
In fact, on a PC, all you need to do is follow the directions in the printer wizard application and you should have a printer online in no time. The same goes for a Mac. In fact, most of the time, all you have to do is plug the printer in, connect it to your computer and you’re ready to get printing.
However, complications can arise when it comes to drivers. Ah, printer drivers. Those pesky little files, programs, whatever the heck they are, that make it so your printer and computer can “talk” to one another.
Installing drivers is simple. So simple, that most newer computers come equipped with all of the drivers for current printers so you don’t have to do a thing. However, if you find yourself needing to locate a driver for your printer, here’s the way to do it.
Visit the website of your printer brand. Or, for a quick short cut, search for your < a href="http://www.printcountry.com/hp_printer_toner_ink_cartridges_main.asp">printer brand + printer model + “printer drivers.” So your search might look something like:
HP PSC 1315 printer drivers
See how easy that is? You should then come up with plenty of results to get your printer up and running. Once downloaded, install the driver and voila!
Have a nice weekend!
