How Do They Print the Photos to Put on Birthday Cakes?
Want to do something special for your child’s birthday? Well, make his birthday cake one that he won’t forget with his picture on top that he can also eat! What you need to do is to print the desired photo with special paper and special ink that you can buy from your local computer store.
The first step is to clean your printer to remove all traces of previous ink collected on it. Then buy something called ‘Edible Ink Cartridge’- commonly available in Canon and Epson brands. Next you need ‘Edible paper’ made from rice or potato starch which looks very similar to the normal paper that we use.
The difficult part is to ensure that the print out fits the cake dimensions. Once, this is sorted out, print out the desired photo and place it neatly on top of the cake. The photo and cake are now ready to be gobbled down!
