Photosmart Printers Get Revitalized
Hewlett Packard is updating their Photosmart printer line by adding touch-screens of varying styles to most every type in addition to several updates (features like individual color inks, Bluetooth compatibility and duplex printing) and new Wi-Fi compatibility. The changes bring some new devices along with them and offer a more comprehensive ease of use to the older format. This should offer some great new features for anyone looking to update their old Photosmart or a new printer with current tech. Take a look:
• C4680: A great all-in-one printer for those just getting started it comes with solid scanning and copying abilities. Not only that it offers great photo prints, a color touch-smart framed display (buttons around the screen can be touch activated) and a Integrated Print Head System.
• Photosmart and Photosmart Wireless: Both offer a compact design, touch-smart frame and the ability to select individual color inks. The wireless version offers Wi-Fi connection and a slightly higher price tag as well.
• Photosmart Plus: An all-in-one with scanning and copy abilities. This one comes with a full touch-screen, Wi-Fi, and the four-ink setup that the original uses.
• Photosmart Premium: This one comes with a bigger screen with Snapfish support, Wi-Fi, Ethernet networking, Bluetooth, as well as built-in duplex printing. It uses five ink cartridges and has low energy use.
• HP Photosmart A646 Compact Printer: This one also has Wi-Fi and a touch-screen but has the added feature of being able to connect to a camera without the PC due to the built-in Bluetooth.
