Cool Nails with the Barbie Digital Nail Printer
I find this really surprising and at the same time endearing. I could not help but wish that I could get this gadget for my niece, who is, unfortunately, halfway across the world at this time. Anyway, what the kids of today can get to enjoy never ceases to amaze me, as it probably does the rest of my generation. From PSPs to iPods, there is no stopping the digital age, and it is affecting all age groups.
Now even printers have found a myriad different uses, and it is no longer confined to the office or the school or the home office. It is also no longer confined to rather ho-hum chores such as printing reports and term papers. Now, it can be solely dedicated to doing something fun!
For pre-teen girls, what can be more fun than hanging out with your best girl friends and doing – what else – girlie stuff? Since nail painting can be rather difficult, especially since the pre-teen girls of today will most probably not be settling for a boring coat of Jungle Red, Mattel is bringing forth one of its latest offerings — the nail printer.
So, do not be too surprised if you see a twelve year-old prancing around in nails decorated with intricate fun designs that are virtually impossible to accomplish by hand. One of her friends probably got hold of the nifty gadget that will be made available exclusively at Toys ‘R Us. The machine is resplendent in hot pink, and the process entails the putting of a base coat, bonding coat and top coat, and it will need to run in conjunction with a computer.
If you think that the price tag is a bit too hefty for just a toy for your not-so-little girl, don’t fret as you can sneak in a manicure too, as adults can use the machine as well. We actually did a post on a Barbie nail printer from early this year, complete with a YouTube video.
