How To Network a Printer
Ah, one of those many tidbits of knowledge you need but never seem to have on hand when you need it. I’m referring to the knowledge of how to network a printer. Even though technology has made the process of printer networking considerably easier than it has been in the past, there are still rough spots to get over. And if there are still issues with finding the right printer ink cartridges for your printer model, you know that networking won’t be necessarily as simple as it looks.
Using a network adapter is usually the best way to network printers in your home or office. You can purchase a printer that has this adapter built in or you can buy one that will need this added component. Either way, you can network your printers either wired or wirelessly.
Now, if you have a printer that is not network-capable, you can still “network” it in a sense by installing it on one computer and then sharing it with other computers on the computer network. Make sense?
Let me know if you have any questions. I’m here to answer them!
