Windows 7 Sees a Much Smoother Launch Than Vista
Apparently Microsoft learns well from their mistakes, many of the problems that riddled the release of Vista only a few years ago are completely absent from the release of the new operating system, released on October 22nd. Many of the problems that faced the release of Vista featured issues with compatibility to devices like printers, fax machines and the computers that ran the operating system. This time around Microsoft was careful to collaborate with PC and PC Device companies while designing the new OS. They even made an effort to have more than 80 million users bug test the system before the official release one of the largest beta tests ever done for any program.
As a result of all this work Windows 7 will be selling at 95% of its market value only a few short weeks after it is being released a vast improvement over Vista, which took more than 6 months to reach this point. Windows 7 is also more about improving the issues with previous systems than creating a whole new program. Many computer companies already report that the system both starts and turns off their PC’s much more efficiently than before.
