Inkgard Solutions to Reduce Printing Costs

A company based in San Diego known for the publishing and manufacture of productivity solutions, software and Internet services has introduced a new product line, hoping to plunge into the printer ink industry.

inkgardiProlog Corporation recently released the Inkgard ink and toner cartridge line. These products may yet become an attractive alternative to printer users who are out to save a bit of money on printing costs; iProlog claims that using the Inkgard solutions can reduce printing costs by as much as 95%.

This will be accomplished through the use of Inkgard cartridge solutions as opposed to always going for manufacturer brand cartridges when the time to replace your printer’s ink cartridge comes. We probably do not need to stress or discuss any further how original manufacturer ink cartridges are priced these days; while they do have their published advantages, there are undoubtedly consumers who cannot go past the price barrier.

The Inkgard ink cartridge solutions are reportedly compatible with most name-brand printers, including HP, Lexmark, Epson, Canon, Brother and Dell. The ink and toner cartridges can be used on desktop inkjet and laser printers, depending on which models and brands the corresponding Inkgard cartridge is compatible with. And talking prices, the cartridges are in a price range that is way below that of manufacturer brand ink cartridges.

The product website is generally designed for use by end-users; however, retail and commercial enterprises are welcome to either add or integrate Inkgard software with their respective solutions.

A wide cross-section of end-users can reportedly potentially benefit from Inkgard solutions, including ordinary home printer users and small businesses as well as the academe and corporate users.

Coming up with the line is reportedly in keeping with iProlog’s thrust of being able to decrease worldwide printing costs and reduce environmental waste.

We wonder, though, whether this release has a seal of approval from the name-brand manufacturers, considering that, for all intents and purposes, this will be a bit of a competition when it comes to consumables sales – at least, if the products are indeed able to deliver on what they promise.
