Kodak Pic Flick App for iPhone and iPod Touch
Kodak, known for the longest time for giving consumers the ability to relive wonderful memories through photos, is now taking the plunge into the Apple craze. The release of a Kodak app for iPhone and iPod Touch users has recently been announced.
Called the Kodak Pic Flick, now available on the Apple App Store, the app provides iPhone and iPod Touch users with the ability to wirelessly upload photos to a Kodak W1020 Wireless Digital Frame or print, also wirelessly, on the Kodak ESP 5250 All-In-One Wi-Fi enabled printer, which became available in the market in September this year. The printer, according to Kodak, reportedly boasts of allowing its users to save up to an average of $110 per year and offers the lowest total ink replacement cost in the industry.
Such an app will make sharing and printing photos even easier; now, photos can be added to a digital frame in a flash for friends and family to enjoy. Owners of the Kodak ESP 5250 All-In-One printer can also do away with the normal “ceremonies” that one has to undergo before printing by being able to simply send print jobs directly from their Apple devices to the printer.
The specific features of the Kodak Pic Flick App include dual purpose printing and sharing. You can either brag about your Kodak moments by easily uploading them to a strategically placed digital frame on your office desk or out in the living room, or print them out on you Kodak ESP 5250 All-In-One printer. Users can do this within their Wi-Fi network range. Printed photos can range in size from 2×3 inches to 8.5×11 inches.
Kodak is definitely evolving with the times while at the same time trying to keep its place in the industry that it is best known for – photos.
