Canon Pixma iP1800 Review
The Canon Pixma iP1800 is the company’s brand-spankin’ new photo printer aimed at those just starting out in the world of printing. With a price tag of $50, you might immediately raise your eyebrows and bellow, “it’s too good to be true!” But hold off on that nay-saying, you…naysayer.
This entry-level photo printer is equipped with all you need to get started. While the features are minimal, they will get the job done for home or small office print tasks. Features include:
- Sheet feeder
- USB port
- Two inkjet cartridge system
- Photo roller
You see? That’s all you really need. It lacks things like an output tray and the ability to print directly from your digital camera, but it’s easy to use and the price tag makes it well worth the sacrifices.
This photo printer is best used to print color photos, graphics and images. Text can be a bit grainy, and black and white printing tends to look a tad on the light side. Stick to the photos and you’ll be all set. All you need in addition are some Canon ink cartridges to get the party started!
