Canon Pixma MP600 Review
It’s review time again! I know what you’re thinking: I’m always posting reviews. But it’s important to keep this site as up to date as possible, and what better way to do that than with reviews of the latest printers? The Canon Pixma MP600 is today’s topic of interest.
So what makes this all-in-one printer so special? For starters, you don’t even need a computer to make this thing work. Let’s say you want to make copies of a photo you have. Just scan it into the printer using the scan function. It will appear right on the printer’s LCD screen. You can then make all of your print selections right from the LCD screen. The only other step is to print!
Here are some of this Canon printer’s features and functions:
- Printer, scanner and copier abilities
- 9600×2400 dpi
- 6.3 cm screen
- Easy-Scroll Wheel
- 17.5 in. x 15 in. x 7.5 in. dimensions
Along with being able to scan in pictures and print them without a computer hookup, you can also print images straight off of your memory card or even your cell phone.
The only downside? According to CNET, PictBridge does not work on this printer. That is quite a drawback, but for $200 this is a pretty good deal for a photo printer. My only recommendation here is to use high quality photo printer ink cartridges.
And remember, if the price is a problem, you can always get the remanufactured printer ink cartridges.

Hi Sanford, thanks for commenting. I should have clarified. The PictBridge does not accept other USB devices. Sorry for the confusion!
