HP Combines PC and Printer Units

Hewlett-Packard has confirmed the merger of its Imaging and Printing Group and its Personal Systems Group into a new unit called the Printing and Personal Systems Group. The new group will be headed by Todd Bradley, who has served as the executive vice president of PSG since 2005.

HP Warns of Printer Vulnerability That Could Allow Hackers In

Hewlett-Packard released an urgent support notification to registered HP LaserJet printer owners. It warns users of a vulnerability that could potentially allow hackers to access certain LaserJet-branded printers. HP Recalls Fax Machines Due to Overheating of Power Supply

HP has announced voluntary product recall and rebate programs for some models of HP fax machines sold in the US, Canada and Mexico.
The recall of HP Fax 1040 and HP Fax 1050 was announced January 31, 2012. An earlier product recall of HP Fax 1010 and HP Fax 1010xi has been announced June 26, 2008.
