Apple has once again proven to the whole world that their products are the best-selling devices in the world. After having released their latest iPad 2 in 25 different countries around the world, the tablet was reportedly sold out!

Although Apple would not confirm reports, they admitted that the demand for the iPad 2 has been phenomenal and people want the device immediately in their own hands. Some retail stores have earlier advised consumers to reserve their own units online and pick their orders in their stores when ready.

iPad 2Telegraph UK has tried reaching Apple for confirmation as they too were not able to find any store in UK which had the iPad 2 on stock. Other store staff even told them that they won’t be able to find one anywhere in the world. Everything just got sold! In Paris, Germany, UK, Toronto, and Barcelona, the iPad 2 was sold out within hours of release!

Steve Jobs, Apple CEO released a statement with regards to the issue. According to a post on PC Mag, the Apple creator said that “while competitors are still struggling to catch up with our first iPad, we’ve changed the game again with iPad 2.” This is the reason why the iPad 2 is being wanted by almost everybody around the world, especially in the U.S. He continued to say that their team is very appreciative of the support for their latest device and that they are making things happen just so they could provide iPads for every person around the world who wants one.

No official reports yet have surfaced with regards to sales figures for the iPad 2, but analysts put the numbers at half a million iPad 2 units sold within the first week it was released in US stores.
