Christmas Gifts for the Frequent Traveller
If your special someone – or any person who is extremely important to you – is someone who is constantly on the go, you may find the following list of gadgets an interesting list of gift ideas to choose from. PCWorld.com listed their favorite gadgets for the mobile professional – we are sharing our own favorite items in the list.
iPhone 3G S. Okay, so the recipient of this gift must be a very special someone indeed. Otherwise, you will not be springing this much money on a gift. But if you can very well afford it and that someone certainly deserves an extra special treat this Christmas, then this will certainly be a great gift to put under the tree. This particular iPhone may look just like its predecessor the iPhone 3G on the outside, but inside it has been pretty much overhauled, having been equipped with new core components.
Acer Aspire One AOD150. Having a netbook is now practically a must-have for someone who has to move around a lot. This even holds true for those who already own heavy-duty laptops or have a trusty desktop at home or in the office, as we have probably mentioned already in previous posts. The Acer Aspire One AOD150 comes recommended by PCWorld, although the machine itself does not exactly have a super excellent review. It is worth noting, though, that this netbook has a sufficient enough hard drive of 160GB and may ship with a longer-lasting battery that can reportedly last up to 8 hrs and 34 minutes – truly heaven sent if you are constantly on the move. Now that’s a keeper.
Kindle 2. We already ran a post that basically listed out the things that may convince you to either get a Kindle for yourself or give it away for Christmas. The Kindle 2 will certainly be a great surprise to find under the tree, along with the convenience that it brings for the person on the go who would not want to leave any reading material behind. This particular model is also only half as thick as its predecessor, making it easier to hold.
