SnapBox Turns Your Smartphone Photos into Framed Prints
Posted by John C Arkin on October 21st, 2012Don’t you just love sharing photos you’ve taken with your smartphone? Why not add more pizzazz in those photos by turning them into framed prints?
With the launch of a new service, called Snapbox, you can transform your smartphone photos into inexpensive framed artwork in just a few easy steps. First, you just select photos from your mobile phone or tablet and then email the files as attachment to snapbox@snapboxez.com. In a few minutes, you’d be sent a mock-up of the photos in offered sizes — 5×5, 9×9, 5×7, 8×10, and 10×13.
Prices range from $9.79 to $24.99, excluding shipping. However, if you want to avoid the shipping charge altogether, you can have your framed prints sent to any of 12,000 retail locations, including drugstores like CVS and Rite-Aid.
Each photo is printed on gallery wrapped stretched canvas with a matte black baked enamel frame. In its website, SnapBox says they do not use an “off the shelf” material for printing — a factor that makes their prints unique and a true work of art. The turnaround time for the framed prints is five days, approximately three days of manufacturing and two days of shipping.
JONDO USA, the leading manufacturer of personalized photo wall décor, is the company behind SnapBox.
