Buying a Printer for your Mac
So, I have a Mac and while I know Macs are compatible with a lot of different products there is always that bit of lingering doubt in the back of my mind before I purchase something; “Will this be compatible without a lot of extra effort on my part?” When it comes to HP printers, at least this question is an easy one to answer. HP offers several printers, over 200 models that are fully compatible with Macs. Since many Mac users are also very handy with a camera they can appreciate the high quality photo printers that HP offers that are Mac-compatible.
If you are planning on using your HP printer to print high-gloss photos it is important to make sure that you have the right type of printer cartridges. Fine grade color cartridges are the best kind to use in order to print out quality photos. It is also important to use the right kind of paper; good, high-gloss inkjet photo paper is the best kind to use. The newest Mac-compatible inkjet printers that HP offers can also save you a nice chunk of money compared to the cost of printing the same items on a laser printer.
There was a time when having a Mac was rather limiting when it came to the peripherals that you could use with it. Thankfully, those days are long gone. These days Mac users have almost all the options available to PC users including what they choose to print things out on. If you own a Mac you should seriously consider HP’s wide range of Mac-compatible printers.
