Hewlett Packard unveiled on Feb. 11 a new set of deskjet printers, one of them has been recognized by Guinness World Records as the world’s fastest desktop printer.
The HP Officejet Pro X is designed for small and medium-sized business looking to increase their productivity and lower printing costs. HP says the Officejet Pro X is also built with the goal of promoting the value of inkjet technology in the workplace.
“SMB customers constantly look for ways to save money and do more with less,” Stephen Nigro, senior vice president of HP’s Inkjet and Printing Solutions and Graphics Solutions Business, Printing and Personal Systems Group, said in a news release. “The new HP Officejet Pro X Series is an ideal solution that delivers professional printing at a faster rate and cheaper cost than laser printers, while generating significantly less waste.”
HP Officejet Pro X features a speed of up to 70 pages per minute (PPM), automatic duplexer, and 500-sheet tray. It uses four HP quick-drying and long-lasting pigment inks that offer highly durable, professional print quality. With its ENERGY STAR® qualification, the printer uses up to 50 percent less energy and the cartridges create up to 50 percent less supplies waste than laser, while offering comparable quality.
